Vanilla is a versatile flavor that pairs well with many other ingredients. It serves as a neutral base that allows the chocolate flavor in the cookies to shine while adding its own layer of richness.
At Lacock Dairy, the madagascan vanilla that we use for our gelato is prized for its aromatic complexity, with floral and fruity undertones. This complexity can enhance the overall aroma of the dessert, creating a more indulgent and sensory experience when enjoyed with chocolate chip cookies.
When paired with chocolate chip cookies, which are often sweet and have a slightly salty edge, the combination creates a delightful contrast of flavors. The sweetness of our Madagascan Vanilla Gelato complements the semi-sweetness of the chocolate in the cookie.
